With your professional and economic management and your team from the administration, your role as financial controller is to make sure that the figures are all in the right places at the end.

Whether the subject is salaries, turnover or invoices – in your job, you always keep an overview and are responsible for the compliance with economic and legal specifications.

Your responsibility as a financial controller

As a financial controller at our hotels, you’re in charge of the proper bookkeeping for the business and the preparation of the cash flow and financial planning. You’re in constant contact with your club director, the regional manager and our headquarters in Hanover. You also make sure that the information between the other department heads flows smoothly.

Your tasks as financial controller

In your job as financial controller, you manage the staff planning and evaluation of administrative employees. You’re in charge of the crew training. You’re also responsible for the accounting and bookkeeping of the salaries and wages along with the timely payment of taxes and social securities. Additionally, you control the turnover, personnel expenses, vacation certificates and logbooks. As a financial controller, you also ensure the proper care and maintenance of the materials and equipment in the entire administrative department.

For your new job as a financial controller, you should bring your passion and the following:

training in the hotel business or education as a hotel manager
sound knowledge about the business administration of a hotel
management experience
good knowledge of German and English
