Your tasks as a sous-chef at ROBINSON are diverse: You make sure that the special ROBINSON flavor is maintained at the club and that the food quality standards are met. You also use your talent for entertainment to make cooking into a fun experience for the guests. You’re informed about the latest trends and can prepare new buffet concepts in a team with the F&B manager. You’re responsible for the quality of our menus, the ROBINSON bistro line and special events such as a dinner at the pool. You coordinate the international kitchen team and comply with the sanitary standards. It is your responsibility to make sure that the equipment in the kitchen and stewarding are used and maintained properly. At the same time you consider yourself a host and try to support other teams with your work.
For your new job as a sous-chef, you should bring your passion and the following:
- completed training as a chef
- multi-year job experience
- at least one year of experience abroad in a comparable position – ideally also in the hotel resort business
- very high orientation towards quality and service
- above-average commitment and resilience
- high technical competence combined with social skills and enjoyment of interacting with international guests and colleagues
