What does my employment contract look like for a foreign country, do I have health insurance, what is my salary, do I also get vacation days and what exactly are the work conditions? In addition to the company culture, great locations, personal development and much more, ROBINSON offers you many other benefits. You’re probably very curious!
You get a local employment contract directly with the relevant club resort, which is based on established written job conditions. This offers you social security in the respective country of your employment. If you work in non-EU countries, we provide an additional health insurance free of charge for you through Allianz Care.
Social security rights from periods of employment in EU countries and Switzerland may be transferred to Germany through inter-governmental agreements. It is generally recommended that you clarify your individual social security situation before any work abroad. We are happy to assist you in this process.
In the locations that operate in the summer season (e.g. in Turkey and Greece), you start in March/April; in the mountain locations you start in May/June. The contracts for the winter season in the mountains start in November/December. The minimum contract period depends on the opening periods of the respective locations, at least 4-7 months.
In the locations that operate all year (e.g. in Spain or Egypt), you can start at any time depending on the vacancy. The contract period in locations that operate all year is 12 months. Employees who already have experience may also work for short periods of about 12 weeks during vacation season – usually in the children’s and sports areas.
You get 24 vacation days per year – this is prorated for shorter employment periods.
Your salary and commission interests depend on the work area and the position.
You receive vacation discounts after you have been employed for at least six months.
As a rule, you work six days a week. The days off are determined in coordination with your supervisor. Overtime as well as surcharges for Sundays, holidays and night shifts are covered by your salary.
