Theoretical Phases
The theoretical part of the apprenticeship takes place during the winter months from the 1st of December to 31st of March at ROBINSON Çamyuva. During this period, one day per week state teachers cover general subjects such as Turkish, mathematics, and religion at a school in Antalya. On the remaining four weekdays, qualified ROBINSON managers teach the job specific subjects at ROBINSON Çamyuva. The theoretical phase is complemented by specialised additional training, guest lectures from industry representatives, and visits to trade fairs.
Practical Phases
The practical part takes place in ROBINSON clubs in Turkey (Çamyuva, Pamfilya, Nobilis, or Sarıgerme Park). Apprentices rotate through various departments relevant to their profession according to a structured schedule, where they are supervised and supported. They keep training records, and two evaluation meetings are held during the practical phase. Throughout the entire programme, the apprentices live in the unique ROBINSON club atmosphere. In addition to free accommodation, full board is provided free of charge during both the theoretical and practical phases.
Duration
- 3 years for participants with a school leaving certificate after at least 9 years of education, in accordance with the Turkish regulations
- 2 years for participants with a higher education entrance qualification
After completion, graduates are employed as receptionists and complete an additional one year qualification as a certified hospitality expert (IHK).
For your apprenticeship, we expect you to bring enthusiasm and the following:
- Turkish citizenship or Mavi Card
- A-levels, secondary school leaving certificate or at least a good lower secondary school leaving certificate
- A clean criminal record
- Very good knowledge of German and Turkish
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Willingness to provide customer service
- Enjoy working with guests
- Ability to work as part of a team
